Counselling support for you

MED-EL understand that the journey to hearing can be a very worrying one. We have developed this support for anyone aged 14 and over, who is experiencing a range of thoughts, feelings, and emotions around their journey. Counselling helps to explore emotional and psychological concerns.

Already a MED-EL User?

Are you a MED-EL hearing implant user who is based in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland? If so, you qualify for counselling. We believe that support should be available to all, wherever they are on their journey to hearing. The aim of counselling is to support you as you continue to live life with your hearing implant.

Mentoring changes lives

Mentoring can be incredibly powerful. It can be comforting to be supported by someone who knows what you may be experiencing throughout your journey to hearing. Mentors draw on their own experience to guide others. MED-EL UK is proud to provide this support via the Hearpeers Mentor Programme.

Are you a professional?

There are key skills involved in supporting others along their journey to hearing. MED-EL UK invites professionals to participate in training, so these skills can be shared throughout the community. This forms part of the MED-EL commitment to supporting the development of the industry as a whole.
